Where the cut comes from
The flat top had already made its name in hip hop back in the second half of the 80s, through rappers like Kool Eddie. Today the cut is especially popular among German hip hop artists. Rappers like "Gzus" and "187 Straßenbande" have made the boxer cut a fixture of the German scene and taken it mainstream.
